WELLNESS TECH STARTUP POINT OPENS NEW HEADQUARTERS IN EL SEGUNDO
Based in the new Roots on Eucalyptus building, Point provides a universal tech foundation for the wearable fitness device space
(EL SEGUNDO, CA JUNE 9, 2022) Fitness tech startup Point has opened up its first headquarters in the business-friendly city of booming El Segundo, landing in the new architectural diamond Roots on Eucaluptus building located at 212 Eucalytpus.
Connecting the tech industry and sports, Point is geared to cultivate a virtual community, while providing deep, tangible data worthy of a cult following. A seed stage startup born out of the Masters program at the Iovine & Young Academy at USC, Point Founders Paige Sullivan and CEO Kingsley McGowan's ambition is to do for the health & wellness industry what Stripe & Plaid have done for the FinTech industry and they feel that landing their headquarters in El Segundo is just the place to do it. With the right idea and the right team, including former Phoenix Suns NBA star Dijon Johnson, Head of Strategic Partnerships, they’re poised to take the wearable fitness industry to the next level.

Roots on Eucalyptus was built by Balian Architects and is located in the heart of El Segundo in the Smoky Hollow Arts District. Merging industrial art and design with state-of-the-art technology, Roots on Eucalyptus offers tenants parking elevators, a beautiful rooftop oasis, an easy walk to the beach or the many restaurants and breweries that El Segundo has to offer. Building owner and fellow-entrepreneur Drew Boyles, is also the current Mayor of El Segundo, and he's excited to welcome Point to town.
